Pride & Pentecost
“We are a church with open arms, where each person is welcome in God’s all-inclusive love” proclaims our congregation’s statement of identity. We had a great opportunity to express that open-armed welcome by joining in the Geneva Pride Parade.
Our group met at Emmanuel Church (rue de Monthoux 3) at 13h00, to join in a short worship service of “Prayer to Pride” organised by Emmanuel, the EPG, and l’antenne LGBTI. Our respective Pride banners were blessed prior to us assembling and marching in the parade.
