Discussion Group on Inter-religious Commitment – 6, 13, 20 October
What is our vision when we as Christians engage in inter-religious relations today? What are the concrete commitments that guide our action and reflection? In August this year, the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America published a policy statement that thinks through these questions, called “A Declaration of Inter-Religious Commitment.” In October, Simone Sinn will lead a study on this rich text, and together we will discern how its insights can be applied in other contexts. We will meet after worship on three consecutive Sundays: 6, 13 and 20 October, from 12:45 to 13:45 in the sanctuary. You are warmly welcome!

Opportunity to Visit Beth Yaakov Synagogue
Following this month’s discussion group on inter-religious commitment, members of our congregation will be visiting Beth Yaakov Synagogue in Geneva. This is a great opportunity both to visit this historic building and learn more about our neighbors who worship there today.
The visit will take place at 10h30 on Sunday, 3 November. If you’d like to attend, please contact Simone Sinn:
