Holy Week & Easter
Join us for worship
There’s a reason we call this week holy: it’s set apart in the year for recounting the great story of Jesus’s last days. It all comes together here: the path of mercy and justice Jesus walked, the opposition he faced from the powerful, and the self-giving love he embodied all the way to the cross and beyond.
In our congregation this season, we’ve been listening to “sounds of faith”—allowing various sounds to animate and enliven familiar scripture readings. We’ll continue that pattern in the days ahead as we journey through the services of Holy Week, which are really a single experience of worship spread out over several days. You’re welcome and encouraged to join us throughout.
Maundy Thursday, 2 April: Worship at 19h30
We remember Jesus’s last night with his disciples by sharing Communion and washing one another’s feet.
Good Friday, 3 April: Worship at 19h30
We tell the story of Jesus’s betrayal and death.
Easter Eve, 4 April: Worship at 20h30
We share stories of God’s deliverance, proclaim the good news of the resurrection, and conclude worship with a feast.
Easter Day, 5 April: Worship at 11h00
We continue the celebration of Easter with a bright and festive service.
All of these services will be live-streamed on our YouTube channel, except for Maundy Thursday.
All are welcome!
