| Friday 18 and Saturday 19 September 2016 Monteret Congregational Retreat Transportation and parking: There is parking at Monteret for those who are coming by car. For those coming by public transportation, take the train from Nyon to the station “La Chèvrerie-Monteret.” From this station it is about a 15-minute walk to Monteret on a mostly-flat, well-marked path. Please plan to arrive between 17h and 18.30 for registration on Friday. What to bring If you are staying overnight, you will be given a bed in one of the dormitories or bunk-bedrooms. Blankets are provided, but you will need a sleeping-bag or sheets and pillow-case and a towel. You might find a torch useful too. Monteret is at about 1’000 m and can be cold in this season. It will be heated, but for outside activities, think of warm clothes and adequate footwear. Meals The cost of the weekend will cover your overnight stay plus meals. This will include Friday supper, Saturday continental breakfast, hot lunch and breaks, and will cover the equipment we need to have up there. Friday dinner will be a pot-luck picnic buffet. Please bring something COLD to share. Drinks provided for the weekend will be “sirop” for the younger participants, coffee, tea or herbal tea for the others. The tap water is safe to drink. The other meals will be prepared in Monteret and will include a choice of meat or vegetarian food. Please inform in advance if you have dietary restrictions. Everyone, in turn and in teams, including the children, will be helping laying tables, preparing meals, clearing up or doing the washing up. And we all clear up the house at the end. Cost and Payment Overnight stay (lodging and meals): 45 CHF per adult / 25 CHF per child under 15 Saturday only: 15 CHF per adult / 10 CHF per child under 15 Please bring your payment in cash to the retreat.
