Introduction
Our Advent Devotional series focuses on the Magnificat, Mary’s song of praise, as found in the first chapter of Luke’s gospel. Through this 4-week series, we will be engaging in the ancient practice of Visio Divina (or “divine seeing”), using sacred images to guide our reflections and prayerful response to God’s presence. Let us now settle in comfortably, and take a deep, cleansing breath. We are in God’s presence, and we invite the Holy Spirit to guide us.
